Steer & Heifer Validation Information Validation will be by appointment on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 from 8 – 11:30 a.m. at Schneider Brahmans, 1571 Alfred Petsch Rd, Fredericksburg or Monday, June 26 th at Gillespie Vet Center, 402 S Creek St, Fredericksburg from 6 – 8:30 p.m. Sign Up Here For Steer & Heifer Validation Times If you have a conflict please contact Emily ASAP as due to several other 4-H and Extension activities she has limited availability in June to do alternative validations! Steer & Heifer validation is approaching very soon, and we just wanted to let you know about some important things to consider prior to bringing your cattle to validation. Please note that any animal that you are planning to show this fall or next spring (2024 Gillespie County Youth Livestock show or Texas Majors) MUST be validated. Sheep & Goat Validation Information STATE FAIR SHEEP AND GOAT VALIDATION SCHEDULE If you have less than 10 head to validate, validation will be in 10-minute timeslots on Monday, June 19th, 2023, from 8:00 – 11:30 a.m. and 1:00-5:00 p.m. at the Gillespie County Extension Office, 38 Business Court, Fredericksburg. If you have over 10 head to validate, validation will be on Tuesday, June 20 th in the afternoon/evening. Please contact Emily Grant or Brad Roeder to arrange a time.
