  Stock Show Entry Deadlines Friendly reminder that it is time to be working on entering stock shows – Validation/ordering birds is NOT an entry into a show .   Gillespie County Livestock Show Entry (ONLINE ONLY) deadline November 18th. Entries open on November 1 st – we will send out a link & friendly reminder to go enter. Gillespie 4-H Week Happy Gillespie 4-H Week! Gillespie County Judge, Daniel Jones, has declared that October 15 - 21st Gillespie 4-H Week!   Join Gillespie 4-H in CELEBRATING this week! Brighten your day with 4-H! 4-H coloring sheets are available  for download - HERE ! What a great activity to look through the variety of 4-H opportunities. Pick up a class set and take to your teachers for your whole class from the extension office.  HAY! It's 4-H Week! Gillespie 4-H Clubs and Council Officers have decorated 4-H hay bales across town! Check them out and snap a picture and share with the office! Gillespie 4-H Family Fun Night: Thursday, October 19th - 5 p.m. till 7:00 ish Bring the whole family and meet up with your 4-H friends to enjoy an evening outside of club meetings, the extension office, and the barn!  One Day 4-H: Saturday, October 21st - 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (lunch provided) Lend a hand to your community on One Day 4-H!
